About the Business
We are a mature business, owned by members of the same family and traded from the same location since it first opened back in 1991. We are located in a local landmark, an old Forge and Blacksmith's shop, in the village of Ringmer, East Sussex, which is held in affection by residents. Current owner, Jonathan Steeden, employs a small team of local people who pride themselves in providing a personal service to our customers.
We source and supply furniture using materials from FSC* managed forests and reclaimed sources wherever possible. Its main tools for achieving this are standard setting, independent certification and labeling of forest products. This offers customers around the world the ability to choose products from socially and environmentally responsible forestry.
