About the Business
Stocker Furniture was established in 1982 after I completed my two years of study in Furniture Production and Design at the London College of Furniture. A workshop in Highgate, north London was established and I ran the business from there. I was awarded the Carpenter of the year in 1991 for excellence in craftsmanship and design and moved a bigger workshop in Highgate shortly after. I was nominated for the same award in 2001.
I no longer run the workshop but I work in close assosiation with other workshops and suppliers with whom I have built a trusted relationship over the years. This gives me the flexibility and scope to provide an even better service to my clients. I concentrate on the drawing, design and management of the projects and leave the making to my team of very fine craftsmen.
