About the Business
Since deciding to set up independently in 2008 it has always been Matthew's aim to deliver a customer driven service from design to completion of every job. Special care is taken to ensure that every client not only ends up with something that is great to look at but an item that will stand the test of time.
With a history of woodwork stretching back to his teenage years winning commissions for Grade 1 listed building restorations, years volunteering with the National Trust and many years working in the domestic market providing furniture solutions to homes in the North East, Matthew has a keen interest and understanding of timber and its applications all the way from the forest, through the timber-yard all the way to the final product.
Recently a new addition to the team has come in the form of Daniel Evans. Dan has a degree in furniture making along with being a trained guitar maker, he has an impressive portfolio of his own and many years of experience in the sector.
