About the Business
In 1947 following his demobilisation from the RAF, Jack Blundell decided to open a furniture shop. He found premises in Sittingbourne High Street with accommodation above and moved in with his wife and thus Blundells Furniture was born. Fast forward to today and, whilst there is no longer a flat above, the shop is still in its original location now run by Jack's youngest son Bob and his wife Lisa. The original flat providing a third floor for the, now extended, showroom. Jack's philosophy remains and Blundells continues to strive to offer the best service possible Delivery is free of charge to customers just about anywhere in Kent and not just to the front door as the furniture is installed in its chosen room and the furniture being replaced is removed free of charge too.
Deliveries to London and parts of Essex and East Sussex are not uncommon and evening deliveries can be made by special arrangement.
